About Me

Kate Keller

I am a data and evaluation professional with five years of experience as the Director of Research, Data, and Evaluation at EdVestors. I specialize in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis and planning rigorous yet realistic evaluations. I ensure evaluation plans are aligned with organizational values, efficiently measure impact, and are usable by the staff doing the work.Before my role at EdVestors, I taught high school math in Title 1 schools in rural North Carolina and Boston. I hold an M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and will be pursuing my PhD at Tufts University.

Quantitative & Qualitative Analysis

Conduct descriptive and statistical analysis using Excel and R.Thematic coding of qualitative data from interviews, focus groups, and field notes using Taguette or similar platforms.

Data Collection & Tool Design

Survey design and analysis using Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Google Forms, or similar platforms.Interview and focus-group planning and facilitation to capture the lived experiences of participants.Designing formative and summative assessments aligned with learning goals

Evaluation Planning

Facilitating evaluation planning that aligns organizational goals, intended outcomes, and equity commitments with measurable metrics.Designing rigorous yet realistic study methodologies, including proposed measures and data sources tailored to organizational capacity.

Data Visualization

Creating interactive dashboards (using tools like Power BI) for strategic decision-making and organizational storytelling.Translating complex data into actionable briefings and presentations for general and stakeholder audiences.

Equity-Centered Data Practices

Developing and operationalizing Data Equity Statements to ensure ethical and inclusive data collection and use.Conducting landscape research and literature reviews to align organizational strategies with emerging evidence and equity-focused best practices.

Capacity Building & Technical Assistance

Coaching and training internal staff to ensure organizations can sustainably manage their own evaluation processes over time.Translating research and policy implications into practical recommendations for program directors and leadership.
